Florist Of Lichfield Wedding Terms & Conditions

Saving Your Date

We recommend booking 6 - 12 months in advance as we offer dates on a first come first serve basis.

Before we can save your date you need to book in for a consultation with one of our florist’s to discuss your requirements, and when you are happy with your quote we require a £100 booking fee to save your date officially.

 

Consultations

All consultations need to be booked with a member of staff and we will arrange a date and time for your appointment.

 

Once your wedding date is booked we are available for contact by phone, and email at any stage to answer any questions and queries you may have.

 

Booking Fee

We require a £100.00 non-refundable booking fee to secure your wedding date and flowers, this will be taken off your total balance, and is to be paid a minimum of 4 weeks before your wedding.

 

We strongly recommend the booking fee is paid as soon as possible as without payment of this booking fee, your wedding date and flowers are not confirmed with Florist of Lichfield regardless of if you have received a quote from us in the past. By paying this you agree to the terms and conditions of Florist of Lichfield's products and services.

 

Payment

We accept payment by cash, card and/or bank transfer (bank transfer details we be provided upon request.)

 

We will contact you 3 weeks before your wedding to confirm all details of your booking are correct prior to full payment being made. Full payment of your order is due to Florist Of Lichfield a minimum of 2 weeks before the date of your wedding but it can be paid at anytime before this date.

 

We reserve the right to cancel any wedding flowers, if payment is not made by this date. We are not obliged to offer any compensation for inconvenience caused.

 

Changes & Amendments

Any changes and/or amendments to your quote can be made up until 2 weeks before your wedding day (the same time full payment is due).

 

Any requests for changes to be made to your order after this date must be submitted in writing by the bride, groom or appointed acting party. Florist of Lichfield will order your wedding flowers approximately 10-14 days before your wedding date, dependent on type of flowers chosen. You will not be allowed to make any significant changes after the order has been placed without additional fees. We will, however, try to make small changes where possible to accommodate your needs.

 

Subject To Availability & Change

Florist of Lichfield’s products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute any previously agreed product, cut flower or component within a design of equivalent value and quality without notice. This includes specific flowers/ plants and sundries that may not be available. We do stress that flowers and plants are natural products and colours may differ and/or be unavailable to those agreed but we will always make every effort to source products accordingly.

 

Prices are subject to change and wedding quotes are valid for 6 weeks from the date they were sent. After this time if a wedding booking fee is not paid Florist of Lichfield reserves the right to change prices accordingly to reflect the current flower prices.

 

Delivery

Florist Of Lichfield has an additional charge for delivery. This is dependent on time, mileage and any additional time to set up. Wedding packages include delivery and set up at no extra cost if the venue is within 10 miles of our store (20-22 Tamworth St, Lichfield WS13 6JJ).

 

Any incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in delivery, so before placing or confirming your order for a product or service, please ensure that you have provided full address and telephone details, including accurate postcode of the venue or agreed recipient and your contact telephone number or e-mail address so that we can notify you in the event that any delivery problems are encountered .Your flowers will be delivered or set up at a time previously agreed between Florist of Lichfield and you. If for any reason we are not able to meet the delivery or set up time, you will be notified as soon as feasibly possible.

 

Event Set Up

Florist of Lichfield will personally deliver and set up your flowers unless otherwise agreed. For large events trusted assistants are brought in to ensure smooth and timely set up.

 

Florist Of Lichfield accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by flames or lit candles at an event once we have left the wedding set up. Whilst Florist Of Lichfield can provide candles and candle vessels, it is usually the caterer and/ or venue staff that light them and we will not therefore be held accountable for any damage caused by them.

 

Florist Of Lichfield accepts no responsibility for failure to collect, wear or use any arrangements for specific use by the bridal party, i.e. buttonholes or bouquets, once they have been left by our team at the relevant and pre-agreed venue. Any oversight to correctly collect and, for example, pin on buttonholes on behalf of the wedding party as a whole, or by an individual, remains the responsibility of said wedding party and/ or individual.

 

Care Instructions

Because of the perishable nature of our products, you will be advised upon/prior to delivery how to store/care for your products and we ask that you fulfil this. Usually, the instruction will be to keep the product in a cool place, away from draft, heat or strong fumes and, if a bridal bouquet - this needs to be kept in water and cool until 30 mins before usage, the stems can then be dried off.

 

Cancellation Of Services

Cancellation of Florist Of Lichfield’s services must be notified as soon as reasonably possible. Any booking fee paid will be retained regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation. As earlier stated we must receive full payment 2 weeks before the event. If you cancel your event within this time, after we have received payment from you, we will be unable to offer a refund, and will retain the full amount.

 

Complaints

In the event that you are not satisfied with the Florist Of Lichfield's product or service, any complaints should be addressed in the first instance, and within 1 working day of the delivery date, to:

Disclaimer- Ill health, Acts Of God Or Adverse Weather Conditions

Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Florist Of Lichfield Service is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this. Acts of God, sudden ill health, and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver the agreed product or service. However, in cases of adverse weather, we will remain in contact with you in the lead-up to the event and, if the event is out of season, we will discuss a contingency plan with you. We have contingency plans for such occasions of sudden ill health. Ultimately, we can accept no responsibility for Acts of God, sudden ill health, or adverse weather conditions and if we are prevented from providing the Florist Of Lichfield service or product as agreed, then we can only offer a refund of full monies paid.

 

Props, Styling & Décor

Any items hired or borrowed from Florist Of Lichfield (such as vases, containers, and props) shall at all times remain the property of Florist Of Lichfield. You are responsible for the goods during the hire period from the time of delivery until the goods are accepted back into the possession of Florist Of Lichfield. All items must be returned in the condition they were delivered or a replacement fee for the item will be charged. The hire period for all goods supplied by Florist Of Lichfield will be variable and agreed upon prior to your wedding day, along with details for return/collection. We do also take a security deposit on any items hired from Florist Of Lichfield, again this is dependent on items hired. This will not be cashed and will be returned back to you upon safe return of our hired items.

 

General

We reserve the right to supplement and amend the Terms and Conditions of Florist of Lichfield products or services from time to time. We will inform you of any changes to Florist Of Lichfield's terms and conditions. If you do not sign and return a copy of the Terms and Conditions as listed herewith; by the act of paying a booking fee, you are proceeding with the booking and entering into a contract and therefore agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Additionally, we reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate Florist Of Lichfield products or services for any reason at any time.
